The seven-page research paper best represents the learning outcome Contributing Knowledge because it required me to analyze my primary evidence especially the interview with ohgawdkate and place it in conversation with my secondary academic sources. In this paper, I was not just summarizing information; I was interpreting communication strategies used in esports communities and explaining what they reveal about writing, rhetoric, and digital participation. By comparing real interview data with ideas from scholars like Rhee, Jang, and Hamari and Sjoblom, I created a new explanation of how streamers use communication to shape viewer involvement. This process of analyzing, connecting, and forming an argument shows how I contributed my own insights to the existing conversation on esports communities, which is why this outcome fits the research paper the strongest.
