A self-reflection on my lifestyle, it was nice to take a break from the regular homework assignments, and just jot down my thoughts as a small refresher.
"A good night's rest has always been elusive for me. I find that no matter how tired I become, or how cloudy my mind gets, sometimes my eyes refuse to close. I have tried different routines such as turning off my devices an hour before sleeping, having a warm drink, but nothing has worked so far. Sometimes I go two or three days with little to no sleep. I just moved here recently for school, and I live off campus which has been very expensive. Combining my lack of sleep with a physically demanding full-time job and limited funds leaves me with little room to focus on my nutrition. There's just not enough time in the day it seems. I’m hoping since now that I'm fully settled into my new home, I can put more energy and resources into cooking healthier meals however time is still an issue. My job makes me walk an average of 29,000 steps a day so at least my body gets a good workout daily. "
